Public amenities in many villages are being developed under the programme of “One Project for One Village.”
This Rural Development Project is being launched under the guidance of the Ministry of Economic Development. Action had been taken to upgrade public amenities of many villages within the Kebetigollewa Divisional Secretariat Division. The launch of access road development of the Wahalkada D-4 and D-6 villages and the construction of the community hall of the D-5 village took place under the patronage of Minister Tissa Karaliyadda.
The opening of the Projects launched within the Kahawatte Divisional Secretariat Division under the “One Project for One Village” programme took place under the patronage of Deputy Ministr Premalal Jayasekara. Parallel to this work, the Deputy Minister also launched work on several new projects worth one million rupees.
