A toddler 1 year 3 months succumbs to death drowned in a swimming pool at Kalutara
It is reported that a toddler Pasindu Silva just one year and three months old had fallen in to a swimming pool at Moragolla, Aluthgama. This
swimming pool is one that used by guests who patronise the guest house which belongs to father of the deceased toddler. It had revealed that the toddler had followed the proprietor’s brother who had walked towards the sea nearby and had lost his way and fallen into the pool yesterday evening and succumbed to death.
This was revealed by Assistant Superintendent of Police Kalutara Police station Samantha Wedage. According to him the post mortem of the dead toddler is to be held at the Nagoda ,Kalutara, government hospital.
