Before the debate of the 20 A amendment to the constitution
of the government, all party leaders has had a meeting to discuss the finer points yesterday the 22nd instant.At this meeting owing to differences in opinion the meeting had become very tense. As a result the leader of the Jathika Hela Urumaya Ven. Athureliye Rathana thero had walked away from the meeting in protest.
Rathana thero had walked out as he could not agree with what was spoken at the meeting. The debate in the parliament on this 20 A amendment to the constitution of the government is to be held on the 23rd and 24th.
