Sri Lanka has signed the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearances, according to Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera. The convention was signed by Sri Lanka’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Dr. Rohan Perera. The signing coincided with the International Human Rights Day that was celebrated yesterday.
