Former Parliamentarian Sajin Vass Gunawardene was enlarged on bail today. The order was given by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court. He was arrested by the CID on June 27th following an investigation initiated into a complaint lodged by a Director of a private company accusing Gunawardena of defrauding him for over 600 million rupees.
