Four elephants have died after a collision with the mail train operating from Mannar to Colombo. The incident had happened between the Madu Road and Settikulama Railway Stations. However, there were no obstructions to the operation of trains on the Northern track. The accident had occurred when the four elephants were crossing the trail track
