600 million rupees of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission had been misused for the distribution of Sil cloth during the last Presidential election period. Former Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunge and Former Director General of the Telecommunications and Regulatory Commission are accused of misusing these funds. Further hearing was postponed until the 04th of November.
