President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed a Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate and report on the Central Bank bond issue. Former Supreme Court Judges Kankani Thanthri Chithrasiri and Prasanna Sujeewa Jayawardene and Retired Deputy Auditor General Kandasamy Velupillai have been appointed as members of this Commission.
