Ramalingam living in AshokNagar in Tamil Nadu was touring Sri Lanka nearing the period of the Saturn transit expected to take place last 26th. and had been lodging at Pearl City Hotel in Bambalapitiya. His Co-ordinating Manager said that under reasons of Astrological business rules it is not possible to reveal as to the identities of those who sought his services when they contacted him this time in Sri Lanka when an English newspaper posed him a question some days back. Whatever it is, a certain politician whom everybody knows had got Ramalingam down to his own village by helicopter and had inquired for his forecast, it is reported. In any case he had been told that Saturn transit was malicious in his case and some remedial poojas had been advised to be performed by him in that connection. Apart from this it was informed that an owner of a powerful media organisation, a UNP Minister had consulted Ramalingam. Ramalingam has said that it is this young Minister who stands a chance of becoming the President in 2020, to a large extent. The Manager had however been cautious enough to withhold the identity of that person.
In the process, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa getting on stage at the Nugegoda rally of the Joint Opposition, opening his speech and bringing the speech to a close ... all those procedures have been executed in accordance with Astrological auspicious time-periods, so goes the rumour. To operate and direct the programme at the stipulated auspicious times had been handed to the announcer on that occasion, it was later reported.
