Chathurika Peris leaving Roshan and going in search of Gayan of course is by now an old wive's story as such. What happened next was that the former wife was then forced into a helpless state as Gayan, a father of 2 children refrained from paying maintenance to the 2 children. It was after that she went abroad for the purpose of maintaining the 2 children because of economic difficulties. During this period Gayan had brought the elder child of the 2 children to Chathurika who had brought him up in her custody. Subsequently she had released a video from overseas to show that a husband who showed no care for her and the 2 children is now involved in
playing a sort of 'drama' for the world to see. Whatever it is, both Gayan's wife and Gayan too had the necessity to make the society focus their eyes on this 'absolute personal issue' and as such the tangled family issue has thus provided a good exhibition for leading electronic media too. 

Because of this 'game played with a child' the social disaster inflicted on the innocent child however by no means is something that cannot be brushed aside.
