The new economic centre built at Welikanda area at a cost of 42 million rupees, under Pibidemu Polonnaruwa programme, has been vested in the public.The Agricultural Economic Centre built in Welikanda town was vested in the public by North Central Province Chief Minister Peshala Jayaratne. The new Economic Centre is consisted of 200 trade stalls.
