A proposal has been made by the President to issue an order by the relevant minister under the Sri Lanka Telecommunications Act to assign the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka for the registration of SIM cards. The Cabinet has approved this proposal. Accordingly it is essential to register them properly for controlling various crimes
