President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed the Ministry of Finance to impose a hundred per cent tax on imported big onions. The President’s Media Division said that the President issued this order while directing his attention towards the problems faced by local big onion farmers when selling their crops. Accordingly the tax imposed on imported big
