Sri Lanka’s fisheries exports have recorded a notable increase of 45.9 percent this year. The Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources states that this growth has been made possible as the European Union lifted its ban on fish products from Sri Lanka. The European Union removed the ban on fish exports in June last year.
