Based on information received by the Navy, a Fast Attack Craft attached to the Northern Naval Command apprehended 2 smugglers with 3.7 Kilograms of gold in the sea area northwest of Kankesanthurai Lighthouse yesterday evening. The suspects had concealed 37 biscuits of gold, each weighing 100 grams, in the dinghy used for this illegal act.
