The Kaudulla National Park has become a strong tourist attraction location.
Located in the Polonnaruwa District, the Kaudulla National Park is being attracted by local as well as foreign tourists. About two thirds of the entire National Park is covered with rain water and it is considered a natural Aquatic Park.
The Park which is an oasis of elephants is also rife with dotted deer and moose. There are also birds endemic to the country. There are many varieties of rare birds. It is rich in biodiversity and this has become a main tourist attraction.
