The Bhartiya Janatha Party has underscored that the Indian Government should constantly maintain relations with Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is India’s closest neighbor. As such, the Bharatiya Janatha Party, which is the main Opposition in India emphasized that the Indian Government should constantly maintain strong ties with Sri Lanka. Reports emanating from the Indian media said that President of the Party Rajnath Singh laid this emphasis addressing a meeting of the Bharatiya Janatha Party. It was held in New Delhi. Mr. Rajnath pointed out at this meeting that India’s foreign policy was very weak and as a result regional countries such as Sri Lanka were falling apart.
The BJP President asserted that in addition to Sri Lanka, India should maintain very cordial relations with countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal and Afghanistan.
