Can anyone forget the ruthless murders committed by the brutal tiger terrorists daily to quench their thirst for blood? These terrorists violated human rights flagrantly.

A war hero was killed in an attack launched by the tiger terrorists in the Jaffna Fort area on 22nd January 1987. With this attack, the terrorists thus commenced their killing spree on January 22nd during the dark era. On the same day the blood thirsty terrorists exploded a claymore mine in Point Pedro and killed two war heroes. Trincomalee was the next target of the terrorists on 22nd January 1991. The terrorists planted a landmine and two war heroes died in in this landmine explosion.
On 22nd January 1992, the terrorist mooted a massive attack in the Nelukkulam area taking away the lives of eight gallant soldiers. On the same day, three more war heroes made supreme sacrifices on behalf of the country in a shell attack which the terrorists targeted at Mailankulam. Two war heroes died in another shell attack which the terrorists mooted on 22nd January 1993 in the Pesalai area. January 22nd 1996 was another day which the terrorists stained with blood.
The terrorists unleashed a brutal attack on an Air Force helicopter which took off the grounds from Palaly. 39 Air Force heroes lost their lives in this attack. On the same day, the tiger terrorists targeted another attack on a group of war heroes in the Nikawewa village in Padaviya. Five war heroes sacrificed their lives on behalf of the country. On a day like today in the year 2007, the tiger terrorists unleashed an assault at the Maathawaithyankulam villages. Two innocent unarmed civilians died in this attack.
Four gallant soldiers died in an artillery attack launched by the tiger terrorists in Muhamalai on 22nd January 2008. Another two war heroes sacrificed their lives on behalf of the unity of the motherland in an attack mooted by the terrorists in the Puthukudiyiruppu area on 22nd January 2009. On the same day the ruthless terrorists unleashed a gruesome attack in Thaarampuram. Two war heroes were killed in this assault. The terrorists launched a mortar attack in the Chundikulam area on the same day, killing two war heroes.
The next target of the brutal terrorists was Ramanathapuram. It was on 22nd January 2009. Three war heroes sacrificed their lives in this horrific attack on behalf of the country. It was on the same day that the terrorists mooted a mortar attack in the Udayarkattikulam area. The lives of three war heroes were lost in this assault. The terrorists unleashed a shell attack at Pulayamkulam killing four heroes also on 22nd January 2009. Demented by the serious defeats suffered, the terrorists on the same day launched an attack at Vishwamadu targeting war heroes providing security to the country. Four war heroes sacrificed their lives on behalf of the unity of the country. On the same day the terrorists attacked a group of war heroes in the Tharapuram area killing seven more war heroes.
The terrorists who were in search for blood to quench their thirst, mooted a shell attack at Udayarkattukulam. Seven war heroes were killed in their shell attack. On 22nd January 2009, the tiger terrorists launched another attack in the Mullayaweli area. 17 war heroes made supreme sacrifices in this attack.
The remorseless tiger terrorists had taken away the lives of three innocent civilians and 127 gallant soldiers on 22nd January alone within the fear psychosis period. If the thirst for blood by the terrorists was not ended from the Nanthikadal Lagoon at Wellamulliwaikkal on 18th May 2009, the country would have transformed into a land of the dead.
Can anyone forget the freedom enthroned in the country by the war heroes who advanced under the unwavering leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, President Rajapaksa and the proper guidance of Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, sans considering any religious or caste differences? Forces against the country, undermining the freedom achieved through such dedications are determined to takes the leader of the country and the war heroes to the international war tribunal. Local forces supporting certain powers in the world are launching conspiracies against their motherland.
Some have made statements claiming that Prabhakaran who brutally took away many lives is better than the heroic people’s leader and the brave soldiers who protected the country. Isn’t it the responsibility of the patriotic fraternity to teach an unforgettable lesson to such traitors and Non-Governmental Organizations mainly depending on Dollars of the Tamil Diaspora, supporting the international conspiracies?
