Fishing in the Eastern sea resumes with the weather condition returning to normalcy.
Fishing in the Eastern sea was paralyzed due to extreme weather conditions. The situation has now returned to normality and the fishermen ventured into the sea this morning. Accordingly normal fishing activities commenced in areas such as Batticaloa, Eravur, Savukkadi, Punnakuda, Kaluwankerni, Valachchenai and Vakarai.
