Construction work on the Second Stage of the Mihindu Sethpura Housing Scheme has commenced. Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa observes the construction work.
Work on the second stage of the Mihindu Sethpura Housing Scheme commenced this morning at the Dematagoda Housing Complex premises. The construction is being handled by the Urban Development Authority and the Urban Habitat Project under the guidance of the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development.
600 units will be built under the Second Stage of the Mihindu Sethpura Housing Complex. Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse joined in observing the work launched under the second stage. He issued instructions to officials on how the construction should progress. Director General of the Urban Development Authority Nihal Fernando was present on the occasion.
