A fabulous function was held at the Waters’ Edge in Battaramulla in the view of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year which dawns in another few days.
The function was held with the participation of many foreigners. It was organized by the Australia-New Zealand- Sri Lanka Business Council. The foreigners had the opportunity of tasting traditional sweetmeats. These foreigners were attracted by the beating of raban. Australian High Commissioner Robyn Mudie graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Chairman of the Sri Lanka Business Council Lionel Silva was among those present on the occasion.
