The Muhurath Festival of the film “Senkadagala Rajasinghe” has been held under the patronage of the President.
The “Senkadagala Rajasinghe| film portrays the biography of King Sri Wickrema Rajasinghe and the related historic incidents. Its Muhurath Festival was organized under the auspices of the President at the President’s House in Kandy. Scripted by Tissa Abeysekara, the Film is to be directed by Sudath Rohana.
Among those present on the occasion was the Mahanayake of the Asgiriya Chapter, the Most Ven. Udugama Sri Buddharakkitha Thera and the Anunayake of the Malwatte Chapter the Ven. Niyangoda Vijithasiri Thera. Among those present were many Parliamentarians and artistes.
