A new hotline has been introduced to lodge complaints on unscrupulous traders who are deceiving consumers.
The Consumer Affairs Authority has received several complaints that certain traders were engaged in business duping the consumer community during the festive season. Taking cognizance of the situation, the Authority has introduced a new hotline 1977 for consumers to lodge complaints. Complaints will be received round the clock.
