The President has joined to watch the final round of the Tamil Mediam – Kavitha National
Talent Show. The final round of the Tamil Medium Kavitha National Talent Show which is held to appreciate creative talents of students in Universities and higher educational institutes, took place last evening at the BMICH in Colombo. President Mahinda Rajapaksa took part as the Chief Guest. The show is organized annually by the Ministry of Higher Education. The President presented awards and certificates to the winners of 2013/2014 competitions. A large gathering of people including Ministers S.B. Dissanayake, Douglas Devananda, Wasudeva Nanayakkara, Deputy Minister Nandimithra Ekanayaka and MP Weerakumara Dissanayake were present on the occasion.
