Author Pasan Kodikara passes away suddenly
The renowned author,translator,dramatist and external University
lecturer Pasan Kodikara had passed away suddenly at a private hospital this morning.
He had been admitted to a private hospital after a brief illness before he passed away.At the time of his demise he was 53 years old. Pasan is a son of the famous author Srilal Kodikara was educated at Nalanda College,Colombo.
He has had further education at the Lumumba University in the Soviet Union and in the Golki school of Literature in India.He had become famous when he translated a number of famous English novels in to Sinhala language.
The funeral arrangements would be announced later which was revealed by his family members.
