Mahela to accept post of SLC’s adviser on school cricket
The former Test cricketer Mahela Jayawardena who called it a day at the conclusion of the ICC
cricket world cup, retired from all forms of cricket. With the dissolving of the SLC and an interim committee was formed under the chairmanship of former cricketer Sidath Wettimuny.
Mahela Jayawardena has received an invitation to accept a new post as SLC’s adviser on school cricket. For this proposal Mahela had agreed as he is now available full time to devote on the game.
