Approval for registration of high speed motor cycles
At present the motor traffic department allows only 450 CC and above motor cycles to be registered only for the forces personnel in the country.
The commissioner general of motor traffic Jagath Chandrasiri had added that most probably new laws will be enacted for individuals other than the service personnel also to register high speed motor
cycles which are above 450 CC.In this regard there are ongoing discussions to consider the issue.
Once the talks are completed the public will be known about this decision. The commissioner general of motor traffic had said that he is not certain to what is the maximum CC would be given approval.
