MP Vijitha Herath arrested after his vehicle had run off the road and damaged a telephone post in Rajagiriya
It is reported that the vehicle the Member of Parliament of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Vijitha Herath was driving had met with an accident in the Rajagiriya area. The vehicle after the mishap had gone off the road and crashed on to a telephone post. It had resulted in his vehicle been damaged. However he had not
received any injuries.MP of the JVO Vijitha Herath had been arrested by the Rajagiriya police authorities as he had caused damages to state property. However after recording a statement he had been released.
A case has been filed against the MP Vijitha Herath in the magistrate courts to recover the damages to public property caused by the accident.
