Parliament has received the ruling given by the Supreme Court disqualifying Geetha Kumarasinghe from holding the Parliamentary seat. The Speaker’s office informed that this would also be intimated to the Election Commission today. The Supreme Court has upheld the ruling delivered by the Appeals Court that MP Geetha Kumarasinghe cannot hold a seat in Parliament
