Sri Lankans living in Japan had organized various Pinkamas commemorating the Wesak Festival. A religious programme organized by Sri Lankans domiciled in Japan marking the Wesak Festival was held at the Sri Sambuddhaloka Vihare in the Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan.
