Facilities for tourists visiting the Dunhinda Waterfall have been enhanced.
The location is visited not only by local tourists. It attracts many foreign tourists. The water level of the Dunhinda falls has risen due to the incessant rains that are being experienced in the area. As such it is more attractive at present. The access road to the Dunhinda Waterfalls has been developed with a grant of 2.7 million rupees and with the mediation of the Tourism Ministry of the Uva Provincial Council.
The development of the roadway to the Falls will enable the tourists to reach the location safely and without encountering hindrances. The economy of the traders on either side of the roadway has also enhanced.
