The system of recording complaints in Sinhala or Tamil language at Police Stations will be streamlined.
Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said that the programme launched targeting Tamil speaking people in the north and the east has been expanded. He said that a special programme was launched in 2009 in the post war period to entertain complaints in Tamil where the there is a predominantly Tamil speaking population.
