President Rajapaksa has declared open the new Water Information Network of the International Water Management Institute.
The Network has been incorporated with all information related to water resources in Sri Lanka. It also information on maps, statistics, water reserves and use of water networks at the international level. The Network provides an opportunity for exchange views and proposals with institutions which contribute to water management.
Senior Minister and Deputy Finance Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Ministers Dinesh Gunawardena and Susil Premajayantha, Deputy Ministers Geethanjana Gunawardena and Nirupama Rajapaksa and Director General of the International Water Management Institute Jerome Bird were among those present on the occasion.
