People in the Southern Province will get 10,000 land deeds during the Deyata Kirula
National Exhibition. The Deyata Kirula 2015, development exhibition will be held in the Southern Province. Many development projects have been launched to coincide with the exhibition. The Government has planned to implement a programme to provide legal deeds for 10,000 families who are living on state lands without ownership. The Deyata Kirula Exhibition organizing committee said that the land problems of the Southern people will be resolved during the exhibition. 5,000 deeds will be given for lands in the Matara district while Hambantota and Galle districts will get the remaining 5,000 deeds.
