A special programme giving emphasis to national unity has been
reported from Akmeemana area. Galle Navinna Muslim Vidyalaya is a leading school in the area. A Shramadana campaign has been organized today to clean the school premises. What is remarkable in this campaign is that the Sinhala community in the area was taking part in Shramadana. Sinhala community cleaned the school premises and repaired the furniture, developing harmony among communities in the area.
