How aged Ukkuamma -- oldest woman in Sri Lanka ...threw the javelin in Kegalle
Pihitige Anulawathie alias 'Kiri Ukku amma' , a 112 year old special competitor participated at the athletics festival of the proficient festival held at the Kegalle Public playground recently. On that
occasion it was amidst everybody's applause that she joined in the events of throwing the discus and javelin-throwing event.
It is understood that she is the oldest living woman in Sri Lanka at present.
After she joined in these events amidst clapping of the crowd present, this aged, elderly mother was worshipped by those present there.
