Malaka’s desperate plea to grant entry to night clubs dismissed by the judiciary
Malaka Silva son of former Minister Mervyn Silva who was initially denied bail when arrested for
having involved in a brawl with British couple in the night club having caused them injuries. However when bail was allowed he was warned by Colombo Magistrate’s courts not to enter any night club and also not to be at places where people congregate.
Against these warnings already made to him he had once again had requested permission from Magistrate courts to withdraw these clauses imposed on him. The requests made by Malaka Silva had been abruptly turned by the Magistrate without any consideration. Malaka Silva has protested to this judiciary order and quipped that it is a huge violation of his human rights. He also had said that the foreign couple with whom he had the unfortunate brawl was at fault and they are moving freely while although he was innocent he had been penalised in this manner.
