Several agreements have been signed strengthening Sino-Lanka relations.
The agreements were signed in Colombo this morning. The agreements aimed at developing the sectors of health, food, fabric, agriculture, motor vehicles and electric appliances. Around 100 investors representing Sichuan and Gwang provinces in China participated in the occasion. The event was organised by Sino-Lanka Trade and Investment Promotion Office with the objective of strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries. Chief Minister of the north-western province Dayasiri Jayasekara and Governor Tissa Balalla were amongst those who participated in the occasion.
