A private institution responsible for the fire at Harbour
When investigations were carried out to verify the reason for the fire that broke out in the harbour it had revealed that a private institution who are conducting a certain development
activity have been held responsible for the fire.It has been reported that some rubber pipes had initially caught fire and it had then spread to some tyres in the vicinity causing the huge fire with smoke.
This fire had broke out at 1.30pm yesterday. These rubber pipes are used to draw sand from the sea to the land through them.It has not been ascertained how the fire broke out.However on account of the fire no damage to property of the harbour or to persons had occurred.
